Rowe names Robinson president – Furniture Today

ELLISTON, Va. – Rowe Furniture has named Bobby Robinson president, effective Jan. 1. The appointment is part of the upholstery manufacturer’s moves to position its leadership for the future as the company, now a Markor subsidiary, approaches its 75th anniversary.

Robinson succeeds Bob Choppa, who will continue as the CEO of Rowe and continue to provide his leadership to the organization. A respected industry veteran, Choppa has held executive roles at Century, Sherrill, Hickory White, Lexington Home Brands and Thomasville.

Robinson, most recently vice president of sales, has been with Rowe for 25 years. An industry leader, he brings market understanding into his new leadership role.

“We are very fortunate to have someone of Bobby’s caliber to move into this position, and we feel his leadership will allow Rowe to continue to grow in the future,” Choppa said.
