The Essentials of – Breaking Down the Basics

Wesleyan Covenant Association
Wesleyan Covenant Association shows that God has invited us to worship with all of our hearts, love one another, serve others without expecting anything in return, and boldly proclaim the ability of God to change lives and the future. John Wesley and I both agree that there is no such thing in the Bible as a sole religion and that we were made to develop as disciples in the presence of others.
The Wesleyan Covenant Association’s Texas Conference chapter was established in 2019 and is officially recognized as a non-profit religious organization by the State of Texas. Its goal is to assist individuals and congregations in faithfully carrying out Methodism’s mission to disseminate scriptural purity throughout the globe and to empower people at all levels to live lives of discipleship and service.
Our fellowship is available to anybody in the Texas Conference who is curious to learn more about the upcoming Global Methodist Church and the possibilities it will bring for a revitalized Methodism. We quote from John Wesley’s sermon on the spirit which was based on 2 Kings 10.15 scripture verse

We believe The United Methodist Church will be the first mainline old Protestant denomination to reach an amicable separation over issues that have divided the church for decades in light of the widely accepted Protocol for Reconciliation and Grace through Separation. We acknowledge that despite our regrets, the larger mission of the worldwide church requires separation.
In terms of moral values, the Covenant association recognizes that both men and women are created equal in the eyes of God and that both genders may be called to and gifted for ordained and licensed ministry. We hold that every person has intrinsic worth and specifically denounce all forms of discrimination based on race, ethnicity, or gender. Compassion, love, kindness, respect, and decency must be shown to everyone. And we value marriage as a union between a man and a woman, acknowledging that God has commanded all people to be faithful in marriage and celibate in singleness.
See the Wesleyan Covenant Association’s Statement of Faith and Moral Principles document .Those who want to participate in the Covenant association work and witness are invited to pay annual dues to the international Covenant association . The Texas chapter does not request financial support, but donations made through the donate option on this website are gratefully accepted. Anyone interested in learning more is urged to visit their website and get in touch with us if they have any questions or would like further details.
We are proud to acknowledge the gifts and contributions of each member of our international fellowship, which includes both large and small congregations in a variety of settings. Our goal is to advance scriptural holiness via cooperation as partners in the gospel and to extend both love and mercy. We are aware that we must either win the world to Christ or leave it in the hands of His enemies. To that end, it is essential that every believer participate fully if the gospel is to be heard and accepted.
